OUR PREMIER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
ORTHOPEDIC RESIDENCY POSITIONS
We've partnered with A.T. Still University to offer an approved American Board of Physical Therapy Residency Program specializing in orthopedics through a unique full-time employment opportunity with One Accord and our specialists. The OneAccord Orthopedic Residency experience is unique in that it combines A.T.Still's comprehensive university-based curriculum with our very own in-house curriculum and a partnership with the MPTA.
FIRST: Through our partnership with A.T. Still University we are able to offer an approved Orthopedic Residency Program that emphasizes the clinical reasoning, advanced practice foundations and mentoring necessary to prepare participants for board certification in orthopedics and most importantly the skills and confidence necessary to successfully treat complex patients. Learn more about the A.T. Still University program here:
SECONDLY: At One Accord we do not believe board-certified specialists should have to wait and pay to undergo fellowship training in order to obtain advanced manual therapy skills. Further, we believe that mastering clinical reasoning without the necessary evidence-based skill set to support this advanced clinical reasoning would be detrimental to patient outcomes and lead to professional frustration.
Having the knowledge to provide excellent patient outcomes, while lacking the skill set necessary to provide said patient outcomes is a recipe for professional frustration, which leads to personal frustration and reduced passion for one's professional pursuits.
Therefore, in addition to the A.T. Still University Orthopedic Residency Program, we provide the following:
- Advanced post-graduate training and mentoring in spinal manipulation therapy
- Advanced post-graduate training and mentoring in non-thrust mobilization techniques
- Advanced post-graduate training and mentoring in dry needling
- Monthly advanced practice modules including Pain Sciences, Advanced Clinical Reasoning, Cervicogenic Headaches, Facilitated Communications Training and other topics not covered within standard residency programs.
These additional modules are included within the resident employment opportunity, without cost to our residents-in-training. If you would like more information please email us your any questions you may have. In addition, if serious, please send your resume and a statement of interest describing why you think our company would be a good match for your future, as well as, what you would contribute to One Accord.
NOTE: We only accept 2-3 residents per year based on availability. Residents must be accepted into the A.T. Still University Orthopedic Residency Program. Click here to check the residency website for application deadlines as the annual residency start date is October 1st.
NOTE: If you are not looking for a formal residency program, please inquire about our in-house mentoring and training program. We only take on 1 participant into this program per year.
